Array Junction Box
Array Junction Box is meant for combining all the incoming lines from the solar panel strings/arrays and
deriving one common array output for the multiple array inputs.
An Array Junction Box, AJB, is used to connect the photovoltaic strings in parallel.
The combined DC power is fed to the photovoltaic inverter. It includes photovoltaic string protection,
overvoltage protection and a DC output switch isolator. The AJB can be customized for different configurations,
based on the number of strings of solar panel modules used in the layout.
ACDB/ DCDB are an important part of SPV system to provide extra
electrical protection to the system during failures. AC distribution box provides protection in
Load AC side during failures. ACDB incorporates isolators, breaker, voltage and current monitoring etc.
It have provision for surge protection also inside along with fuses to ensure maximum protection to the
sophisticated electronic equipment.
Also ACDB have energy meter which help you to know how much energy you are using or withdrawing from the solar energy.
A solar cable is the interconnection cable used in photovoltaic power generation. Solar cables interconnect solar panels and other electrical components of a photovoltaic system. Solar cables are designed to be UV resistant and weather resistant.
They can be used within a large temperature range and are generally laid outside.
MC4 connectors are single-contact electrical connectors commonly used for connecting solar panels.
The MC in MC4 stands for the manufacturer Multi-Contact (currently Stäubli Electrical Connectors)
and the 4 for the 4mm diameter contact pin.
